A Tokyo court has sentenced the head of a not-for-profit company to 8 months in jail for preparing organ transplant procedures overseas without federal government approval.
The Tokyo District Court passed on the judgment on Tuesday to Kikuchi Hiromichi, supervisor of a company that sustains individuals with severe illness.
Kikuchi was billed with presumably agenting organ transplant procedures in Belarus in 2015 without federal government approval for 2 individuals, in infraction of the organ transplant legislation. He had actually begged innocent.
