Tokyo,Oct 27 (Jiji Press)–Kindai University has claimed it was successful in full-cycle farming of the Japanese eel, hatching out eels from eggs and sperm gathered from grown-up fish that were synthetically hatched out.
Kindai is the very first college to attain the full-cycle farming of the jeopardized varieties, its Aquaculture Research Institute claimed. Previously, entities consisting of the state-affiliated Japan Fisheries Research and Education Agency acquired the complete cycle.
The significant exclusive college, based in the western city of Higashiosaka, currently recognized the full-cycle farming of bluefin tuna, which is marketed under the college’s very own brand name.
