TOKYO–Somewhere in the facility of Japan’s active funding is a small museum that asserts Japanese sovereignty over islands that are additionally being declared by China, Russia and South Korea.

The National Museum of Territory and Sovereignty was released in 2018 by the Cabinet Secretariat’s Office of Policy Planning and Coordination on Territory and Sovereignty in the wake of Chinese attacks in the Tokyo- provided Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea.
