BLACKPINK continues to add new achievements to their successful career.
On August 28 of this year, BLACKPINK appeared at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards to present their hit “PINK VENOM,” making history by being the first female K-pop idols to present at the said award show.
The performance was named as one of the best of the night by Billboard.
That was not the only thing that the kpop superstars achieved that night as they took home two major awards at the VMAs.
1) BLACKPINK won “Best Metaverse” at the 2022 VMAs with “THE VIRTUAL” in collaboration with the videogame PUBG.
2) LISA won “Best Kpop” at the 2022 VMAs with her song “LALISA” making history by becoming the first and only Asian solo artist to receive a VMA.
