In a horrific and tragic incident, at least 151 people lost their lives in a stampede in Itaewon on October 29. Meanwhile, over 200 people suffered injuries in the stampede. Reportedly, more than a thousand people had gathered in Itaewon to celebrate Halloween. Itaewon is considered a hub for foreigners and locals – it is a famous spot for Halloween parties. However, the reason behind the stampede is yet to be known.
Yoon Suk-yeol, the president of South Korea, has declared national mourning till November 5. All entertainment events have been postponed in the country. On the other hand, Big Hit Music stated that they had cancelled the Stationhead Listening Party for Astronauts. Besides, the release of the lyrics video has been shelved due to the tragic incident.
