Explosive Japanese punk band Otoboke Beaver headlines the Fillmore in San Francisco

Celebrated high-energy Japanese punk band Otoboke Beaver go back to the Bay Area Saturday evening, headlining San Francisco’s famed Fillmore for the group’s biggest local show yet.

Formed in 2009 by 4 girls that belonged to the scene bordering a rock club at Kyoto’s Ritsumeikan University, the initial line-up highlighted vocalist Accorinrin, guitar player Yoyoyoshie, drummer Pop and bassistNishikawachi The quartet started playing online and quickly taped its very first trials and launching EP 2 years later on, creating an audio just as notified by loud hardcore punk and hook-laden Japanese pop.
