SEOUL,Sept 18 (Yonhap)– South Korean imports of Japanese seafood dropped for the 5th successive month in August on issues over Japan’s launch of cured contaminated water, federal government information revealed Monday.
Seoul imported US$ 7.81 million well worth of fishery items from the nearby nation last month, down 34.8 percent from a year previously, according to the information from the Korea Customs Service.
August published the biggest on-year decrease this year, as well as last month’s import worth was the tiniest month-to-month number in 2 years.
