Vancouver’s restaurant scene has earned an additionalMichelin star
The Parisian tire manufacturer-cum-gastronomic tastemaker granted the honour to Japanese restaurant Okeya Kyujiro, led by cook Takuya Matsuda, at an event Thursday evening.
It’s the nine restaurant in the city to obtain the honour.
“It’s hard to believe,” stated exec cook, Yuki Anai, including that it has constantly been their objective to obtain a sought after Michelin star.
“We will keep working hard.”
