BTS‘s Jungkook got his first platinum certification for his first unabridged solo cd “Golden” by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ), his firm BigHit Music statedFriday
The cd delivered over 250,000 duplicates since November, according to the RIAJ.
The RIAJ licenses songs based upon delivery numbers. Singles, EPs or cds make gold certification for greater than 100,000 duplicates delivered, platinum for 250,000, dual platinum for 500,000 and three-way platinum for 750,000. Albums that deliver one million duplicates make a million accreditations.
