K-pop star Hongjoong creates ‘hard and tough’ stage character using clothes and bling | Entertainment

K-pop idolizer Hongjoong claims style plays such a large duty in his songs he utilizes it to develop a stage alter-ego.

The 24-year-old rap artist, that belongs to the South-Korean octet Ateez, exposed when he gets on stage he synergises songs with style– producing a brand-new character with every efficiency that he claims combines style and power.

He informed WWD: “When on the stage, I fall into that character every time. With my outfit too, if the song is really hard or tough, I want to make my character hard and tough. So that’s why I wear dark clothes and a lot of jewellery.

“But also I put my own opinion in there; it’s not only tough, there is some elegance.”
