A Kyoto tourist organization is offering premium tickets worth 400,000 yen ($ 2,770) each to see the Gion Festival, among the biggest celebrations in Japan, held yearly in July.
The 84 seats, mostly for international travelers, will certainly be established at a crossway in the heart of the city. Here, they can witness the fascinating phenomenon of conventional drifts rotating 90 levels via the power of human initiative as one of the highlights of the Yamahoko ceremony section of the festival on July 17.
Ticket owners can appreciate this phenomenon from their seats, or legless chairs put on an increased system with tatami floor coverings as well as Japanese- styled sunshades, according to the Kyoto City Tourism Association.
