An independent English- language docudrama on the phenomenal life and fierce fatality of Tetsu Nakamura, a Japanese physician that benefited years to transform a desert in war-torn Afghanistan eco-friendly, is readied to present him to a new target market while recognizing his altruistic tasks.
Moved by Nakamura’s job, film supervisor Kenji Yatsu recorded 1,000 hours of video footage over 21 years beginning in 1998, consisting of Nakamura’s participation in the excavating of a canal while the Afghan battle raved. He recorded till the months prior to the 73-year-old physician was assassinated, together with 5 others by still-unidentified armed guys, inJalalabad on Dec 4, 2019.
