Home Secretary Suella Braverman is promoting a ban on American XL Bully dogs after one whipped an 11-year-old woman and 2 males on Sunday.
She called the breed a “clear and lethal” risk after a video clip of the assault in Birmingham was shared on TikTok. The dog little bit the girl as she ran past it, and after that assaulted 2 males that stepped in to aid her.
All 3 were required to healthcare facility, and the males were entrusted injuries to their shoulders and arms. West Midlands Police claimed it is examining the case.
The attack has reopened the debate on harmful canines and whether more breeds require to be included in the UK’s banned list
