BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo will reportedly be the female lead in an upcoming zombie-thriller K-Drama.
According to an exclusive report from YTN, Jisoo will be the female lead in Coupang Play‘s upcoming K-Drama Influenza alongside Park Jung Min. Influenza is a K-Drama that showcases a couple who just broke up trying to keep themselves safe from a horde of zombies.
Jisoo would play the role of Young Joo, the girl in the relationship. She is new to society, being mostly sheltered, and is struggling after her breakup with Jae Yoon (Park Jung Min), who doesn’ t recognize her sensations. She goes outside to attempt as well as meet Jae Yoon yet rather runs into zombies, triggering an adjustment inside her as she needs to defend her survival.
