Netflix debuts first original African animation series, set in Zambia

Netflix’s first original African computer animated series premiered on Thursday in a launching its developer claimed she wished would certainly lead the way for even more manufacturings from the continent.

Set in an advanced variation of Lusaka, the resources of Zambia, “Supa Team 4” informs the tale of 4 teen women that transform covert superheroes after being hired by a retired operative to conserve the globe.

“I’m excited that the world finally gets to see the fantastic show that the incredibly talented super team, from Africa and beyond, have put together,” Zambian author Malenga Mulendema informed AFP in a declaration.
